I made. A really good rice bowl... i ran out of soy sauce like two weeks ago and didnt have time to buy any still so i was intimidated by cooking with no soy sauce but the sauce i managed to put together is actually rly good...

since you were very nice to me, here's a related update about bugs you didn't ask for:

currently running a bug hospital for some wasps we found at work and using it as an opportunity to teach kids about wasps in general, but also the very local ways climate change is negatively affecting us all, because it's been so unseasonably warm in jan/feb this year, that the wasps woke up far, far too early, started a nest, and are now dying in the cold snap.

to make it fun, we've been seeing what kinds of things wasps will eat, and it turns out they REALLY really like ham sandwich meat. also strawberry jello, and rice grains soaked in rose water! :)
